Save anything to your RSS reader

RSS readers are great for feeds β€” but what about one-off articles? Later lets you save any link and read it alongside your subscriptions.

or log in

How does it work?

You save a link. It appears in your own personal RSS feed. Read it whenever you’re ready.

Save links through our web interface, an iOS/macOS shortcut, or the API.

Why would I want to use this?

RSS readers only show content from feeds you subscribe to. But sometimes you just want to read one article β€” and the site might not even have a feed.

Later gives read-it-later functionality to any RSS reader.

Setting up the iOS/macOS shortcut

  1. Get your API key: Sign in and visit your API keys page, then create a new key. Copy it β€” you'll need it in the next step.
  2. Install the shortcut: Open this link on your iPhone or Mac.
  3. Configure the shortcut: When the Shortcuts app opens, you'll see a "Later Setup" prompt. Enter x-api-key in the "Key" field and paste your API key in the "Value" field.
  4. Save a link: Tap the Share button on any webpage or article, then tap "Later" in the share sheet to save it.
